The Final Push
Happy hump-day, Comrade!
This election cycle - and your opportunity to take part - is rapidly coming to an end! As we sprint through the final week we have one final canvass/support push to help our candidates and campaigns across the finish line! Take a look below to get plugged in ASAP - and don’t forget about our ballot guide! It’s red, it’s pretty, and it’s hand-crafted to help you figure out exactly what’s going on with each of your votes as you fill in the bubbles!
Conservatives in Aurora have depended on low-voter turnout to maintain a majority for decades. Dark money has spent over a million dollars so far in opposition to our candidate, but we’ve got us! We’re fighting back by knocking on doors. Bryan Lindstrom is a Denver DSA member and a nationally endorsed DSA candidate who is running for Ward 2 in Aurora City Council - and he would be the 3rd elected official in our path to a socialist majority in Colorado’s third-largest city. Denver DSA is entirely membership-run and membership-funded. We have no staff. Every single thing we win we achieve together - as a community coming together. Join us for any of Bryan’s final 4 canvasses launched from Highline Park at 10am and 2pm this Saturday & Sunday. Join the whatsapp group for details!
VoteNoOn303 is holding four final canvasses this Thursday (Oct 28), Saturday (Oct 30), Sunday (Oct 31), and Monday (Nov 1) - as well as virtual phone-banking events. Take a look at their website to find the events calendar to volunteer! You can also follow them on Instagram and Twitter!
As we draw closer to the end of the election season, we recognize that elections are only one avenue on which we fight towards our shared vision for a socialist future. As Striketober rages on and evolving circumstances bring new challenges to the working class, there will be many more avenues for us to fight hand-in-hand. We hope you join us in fighting towards a brighter future in Denver in these coming months!
