John, Democrats have fought tirelessly to defend and expand voting rights. Will you help me continue the fight to protect our democracy by chipping in to tonight’s million dollar fundraising goal? Your contribution will be matched by a group of anonymous donors if you chip in before midnight.

As Governor of Virginia, I was proud to expand the right to vote to more than 170,000 Virginians — more than any other governor in history.

My reasoning is simple: expanding voting rights is good for our democracy, and it’s good for the people in this Commonwealth.

But now, I’m running against a Trump acolyte who has made Trump’s “election integrity” conspiracies a key issue in his campaign. That’s why the Washington Post called Glenn Youngkin “unfit” to be Governor, citing his disgusting efforts to align himself with Trump’s attacks on our democracy.

He’s even welcomed support from right-wing extremists who supported the January 6 insurrection.

This race is the most important in the country because it’s about defending our democracy and stopping Youngkin from ushering in four years of Trumpist extremism in our progressive Commonwealth. And remember, if a ‘big lie’ Trump supporter like Youngkin can win in Virginia, he can win anywhere.

Please, chip in to my campaign right now — the only way we’ll be able to win is by building a grassroots movement too big to take down:
