Some people say that progressives are asking for too much too soon and that change can wait. We don’t know about you, but that sounds like a major red flag to us.
We need to talk about some red flags.
Voters elected Democrats to push forward bold, progressive legislation to finally center people and working families in our policies. So, why is it that a handful of corporate politicians are single-handedly holding up the transformative investments in child care, elder care, bold climate action, education, and healthcare that the people are demanding?
They say that progressives are asking for too much too soon. They think that change can wait. We don’t know about you but that sounds like a major red flag to us.
Democrats are in power — in control of the House, the Senate and the White House — and that has to mean more than just a talking point.
That’s why Ayanna continues to step up and speak truth to power. She believes Democrats must meet this moment, and meet the needs of the people. And that’s why it’s so important that we have her back right now.
Ayanna’s reelection is just a little over a year away, and Republicans and the corporate establishment in Washington are already gearing up for an expensive race.
Will you have Ayanna’s back today and make a $3 contribution to help us hit our $30,500 fundraising goal before Sunday to ensure we have the resources we need to fight back against the lies and disinformation they’re already throwing our way?

The people have met the moment by electing Democrats across the board. The same communities that face persistent inequities, disparities, and racial injustice, that continue to be most marginalized in our policies, met the moment and made this democratic majority possible.
And now, our elected legislators must hold up their end of the bargain. We have to reject the false, binary choices about what we can and cannot afford, about what is too much, too soon. We do not have to choose between the construction workers who build our roads and the child care workers who enable them to do so.
There isn’t a deficit of resources in Washington, there is only a deficit of empathy.
Ayanna continues to fight to lift up the voice of every person. And she will not back down. So neither can we.
If you can today, please pitch in your first $3 contribution to ensure we have the resources we need to continue organizing for the progressive priorities Ayanna is championing in Congress.
Thank you,
The A-Team
