It’s the end of the month, which means that political campaigns and PACs
are asking their supporters to chip in whatever they can ahead of critical
end-of-month deadlines.

For too long, fundraising — not grassroots organizing — has been the best
indicator of election success. That is why special interest groups,
corporations, and the ultrawealthy control Congress,
John. Why electing working people
and people of color is so difficult. And why we’re working hard to
overcome these obstacles and elect Rana Abdelhamid, Jessica Cisneros, Kina
Collins, Odessa Kelly, and Summer Lee to Congress.

We have a goal to raise $20,000 to the Primary Power Fund by the end of
the month because our slate isn’t backed by right-wing dark money or
corporations, and it’s up to us to make up the difference. [ [link removed] ]Our Justice
Democrats in Congress have taught us about the power of $3, $5, or $27
contributions in disrupting the political establishment. That is why we’re
asking if you’ll chip in a few dollars to our Primary Power Fund

Our small but mighty progressive coalition in Congress has already
accomplished so much, and we’re ready to grow our movement by electing
Summer, Jessica, Kina, Odessa, and Rana. But to defeat a political system
dominated by corporate dollars, and in which the outcome of elections is
typically determined by whoever raises the most money, these end-of-month
deadlines can feel “make it or break it.”



We are working to make 2022 a winning year for Justice Democrats. But for
our progressive candidates to join AOC and Bernie in Congress, we need to
