We sent around a survey earlier this month and received some constructive feedback from you all.

A lot of you wondered: "How will Shield PACs ads make an impact for vulnerable Democrats?"

So, John, here's precisely how our ads will make an impact for swing district Dems.

First, let's use Michigan's 11th congressional district as an example, a seat Democrats barely held onto in 2020 — with just over 10,000 votes separating us from another radical Republican in the House.

It should never have been so close. But because the Republican challenger chose to run false ads claiming Democrats "socialized medicine" would “eliminate 100,000 doctors and nurses”... we nearly lost this seat.

In 2022, Shield can counter misleading narratives like this one in close districts across the country. We'll do that by designing informative ads that tell the whole story and set the record straight for swing voters specifically. We’re going to counter lies with the truth.

Why swing voters? Because they're the people who need to know the whole truth, they're not married to any party; they're interested in policy and its impact on their communities.

We will use targeted digital ads, not expensive broadcast ads, to reach the right voters. It will be surgical and efficient. Nothing like this has ever existed before, and it’s going to be a gamechanger.
