My dear friend, Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, made history when she was sworn in as Delaware's Congresswoman in 2017. She officially became the first woman and first person of color to serve in Congress for our state, and she has been making Delawareans proud ever since.

I've known Lisa for many, many years, and I've always admired her strength and determination. I can think of few others who have been more tested and proven than Lisa.
