While Congress is horse-trading on the $3.5 trillion spending spree bill, one point of contention is the left’s push for “universal child care” and “universal pre-k.”

As a working mom of three young children, I know it *sounds* good and appealing. Struggling to find, get into, and pay for quality child care is hard.

But Congress’ plan for “free” child care and preschool is incredibly misleading. Please help us stop this one-size-fits-all plan from being included in the big spending bill.

as we know from the current state of government-run K-12 public schools, that means ridiculous red tape, radical agendas, and indoctrination of children starting during the most impressionable years of their lives. Why would we want government to have MORE control over our kids?

It really won’t solve the very problem so many of us parents (and grandparents) face when trying to find, get into, and pay for daycare centers and preschools.

Child care is a personal decision. Every child is different and has unique needs, just as every family situation is different, and one-size-fits-all plans will be incredibly limiting and restrictive for the families in need of help the most.
