** 2021 Annual Meeting Recap

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Meeting on October 5th! For those who couldn't attend, here are some highlights of the event:
* We heard updates from our Government Relations and Screening & Professional Education Committees
* Scott Hallock shared the 2020 Monroe County Elevated Blood Lead Levels ([link removed])
* A keynote address ([link removed]) from Matthew Chachère, Staff Attorney for the Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation
* Congratulations to all who received 2021 Certificates of Appreciation! To see the list of recipients, view the slides below.
+ One of this year's certificates was awarded in memoriam to Dr. David Broadvent, a co-founder of the coalition who passed away in September 2021

Press Release Coming Soon

The Coalition will be sharing a press release regarding the 2020 Monroe County Elevated Blood Lead Levels in the coming week. We are excited to highlight that, despite the pandemic, blood lead level testing increased in 2020. Furthermore, the rates of EBLLs of >10 ug/dL have significantly decreased. Look out for the full press release soon!
