Glacier National Park, MT

Dear Friend of the National Parks,

We can't wait for action on climate. The effects of climate change are happening now -- national parks and communities are threatened by droughts, wildfires, floods, sea level rise, heat waves, ice loss and extreme weather events.

Nearly everything we know and love about our parks is threatened by the changing climate. Some of their most iconic plants and animals are on the brink of extinction, while many of their lakes and rivers are drying up, glaciers are melting, beaches are eroding, and historic structures are crumbling. Once park cultural and historic resources are lost, they are lost forever.

Current legislation before Congress is the boldest opportunity we have to address the crisis we are in. Join us to learn from a panel of experts on the significant progress current legislation could make in addressing climate change, the role parks play in public climate discourse, and the policies NPCA, and members and supporters like you, are fighting to get enacted into law.
