The Build Back Better Act must contain the strongest possible provisions on climate.

I’m doing everything I can to fight for strong climate action that my Senate colleagues and the House Progressive Caucus can agree on so we can get this bill to President Biden’s desk.

With Mitch McConnell filibustering virtually every bill that Democrats attempt to pass through regular order, the reconciliation bill — the only filibuster-proof legislation we can pass with a simple majority — is our best opportunity to pass climate legislation and lead the world out of climate catastrophe.

We need all 50 Democratic Senators to get this done. And personally, my support needs to be earned because I’m committed to passing a bill that includes the strongest possible climate provisions.
