Friend, the GOP's plan for taking control of Congress next year is clear. They're going all in to make it harder for Americans to vote – and it's no secret or accident that their voter suppression tactics disproportionately impact low-income communities of color.

Voting is one of our most fundamental rights as Americans, and we need to fight back now if we're going to stop these blatant attacks on our democracy. That's why I'm cosponsoring the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act with 47 other Democratic senators – but we still need top Democrats like you to commit to protecting voting rights.
