Use this form to share your story on barriers to SMI treatment Hello John, The U.S. Senate Committee on Finance is soliciting suggestions from stakeholders across the health care continuum to inform an upcoming bipartisan legislative package “to address barriers to mental health care.” Today, Treatment Advocacy Center sent a letter to the committee outlining evidence-based policy solutions to reduce the systemic barriers between people with severe mental illness (SMI) and treatment. Now we need your help! Please take a few minutes to share your story, connecting your family’s lived experience encountering SMI treatment barriers with one or more of our policy solutions. Use our form to send your message directly to the committee. They are accepting responses through Monday, November 1, 2021. TAKE ACTION Thank you for your advocacy on behalf of those with severe mental illness. Sincerely, Lisa Dailey Executive Director
