I’m disgusted.

This week, Mo Brooks once again refused to admit any personal responsibility at all for the attempted coup on January 6.

Here’s what he said:

Frankly, I barely even know where to begin with how wrong this is.

This was not a “rally” — this was an insurrection, a violent uprising in which people lost their lives. Saying he is proud of anyone involved in organizing the insurrection is crazy, even for Mo. And on top of that, Mo is STILL spreading The Big Lie of voter fraud and election theft.

This comes on the heels of reports that organizers of the insurrection met with Republican members of Congress “dozens” of times, naming Mo Brooks specifically. As the January 6th Committee continues to investigate, I’m sure we’ll find that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Obviously, John, I’m pretty angry. If you’re mad too, I hope you’ll chip in to our efforts to set the record straight and force these insurrectionists to face the consequences of their actions. [[link removed]]

I’m going to continue to do everything I can to hold Mo, his co-conspirators, and anyone else involved in this violence accountable for their traitorous actions.
