A lot of folks are really excited about some of the incredible Democratic candidates who are challenging Republican incumbents like Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell, Lindsay Graham, and so many others.
But it doesn’t matter how many Republican Senators we beat in 2020 if we don’t protect our Democratic incumbents.
Now, here’s the problem: Michigan Senator Gary Peters -- who has been a strong ally on issues like health care and protecting our environment -- is facing a tough re-election against a rising star in the Republican Party.
A poll released this week shows Peters TIED with his right-wing opponent, and if he loses, the path to Flip the Senate gets very difficult.
