In less than a week — ahead of the UN Climate Conference — all eyes will be on our climate movement.

It is going to be the moment when government leaders, the fossil fuel industry, and the mainstream media will turn their attention toward the climate crisis. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity.

Right now activists in the United States, Europe, Japan, Latin America, and virtually every other continent on Earth are preparing to rise up on October 29, just days before the conference, to demand an end to the era of fossil fuels.

So before then, our team here at 350 is working hard to make sure on-the-ground activists have all of the resources they need to make their events a massive success. That includes everything from sound systems, park rental fees, porta potties, and more.

Yes, even porta potties.

I put together a quick list that I'm sharing with strong supporters like you, so you can get a sense of what each contribution would roughly achieve for one of these events.

I'm hoping for a lot of contributions — especially today — so we can help pull off these events and send an unmistakable message to world leaders and the fossil fuel industry:

These events will range in size from a dozen people standing up in their communities, to more than 1,000 attendees. That's why we want to be sure we're prepared to support every type of action in every corner of the country and around the world.
