I just wanted to make sure you'll be joining me tomorrow evening for the NIAC DC Metro Area Chapter’s upcoming Open Mic night on Thursday, October 28th at 4pm PT/7pm ET! [[link removed]]
The Open Mic will also feature acclaimed poet, Peabody Award [[link removed]] winner, and the Roshan Chair of Persian Studies at the University of Maryland, Dr. Fatemeh Keshavarz . Dr Keshavarz will kick off the event with a discussion about the significance of classical Persian poetry in the everyday lives of Iranian Americans. We also have an amazing lineup of artists, singers, writers, and poets from fellow chapter members from across the country!
