Allow me to introduce myself, John. I’m Gabe, and I’m the “GC”, or general consultant, on Morgan Harper’s team.
I work closely with Morgan to help build our network of grassroots supporters and accelerate our voter outreach efforts.
I’m working with Morgan Harper because Ohio deserves better.
Morgan is unlike any other candidate who’s run for office in Ohio and she is the only candidate who can win Ohio right now.
Morgan has lived the struggles that most politicians have never known. Her childhood began in the foster care system until she was adopted by her mother, a Columbus public school teacher and Trinidadian immigrant. Morgan herself faced the threat of houselessness, and was shown from an early age what a lack of security looks like. Life can change in an instant.
Even after she grew up and graduated from school, Morgan continued to fight for Ohio’s most vulnerable communities through her work with the Obama CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and the Ohio non-profit she co-founded.
Morgan is already inspiring voters all across the state. But I’m going to level with you, John, we’ve got an uphill battle.
The Ohio Democratic Party is working hand-in-hand with Tim Ryan to fundraise, and they’ve made it loud and clear who their favorite Democratic candidate is.
Here’s where the ODP is wrong BESIDES just meddling in the Democratic primaries — Tim Ryan cannot win the general election. The Ohio Democratic Party is backing a candidate who the data shows is rapidly losing his voter base.
Tim Ryan’s general election vote share declined every cycle between 2012 and 2020. In predominantly Black wards in his district it dropped by 30%.
If voters don’t come to the polls, we lose our once in a generation chance to flip Ohio blue.
People are making a huge mistake underestimating Morgan and our movement. So John, let’s show them just how wrong they are!
