Voting is one of the best ways we can make progress on issues that matter—yet voter participation in New York State has historically been low. This year, you have multiple options for casting your vote:
- Vote by mail via absentee ballot
- Vote early before October 31
- Vote in person on Election Day, November 2
The outcome of these elections stand to make a big difference in the lives of LGBTQ people in our state, affecting everything from sentencing in court cases (based on the judges we elect) to voting access (based on the fate of important ballot proposals).
