John xxxxxx — do you remember 2008?

Obama had just become the first Black President and Democrats were in control of the House. We were working hard to pass the President’s agenda including the Affordable Care Act.

It reminds us a lot of where we are right now. Democrats control the House again and we are working tirelessly to pass President Biden’s Build Back Better Act.

But do you remember what happened in 2010?

Democrats suffered major losses in the 2010 midterms. We lost control of the House and witnessed the rise of the Tea Party.

We simply can’t let that happen again, John xxxxxx. There’s too much on the line to let our progress be unraveled by the radical right.

If you are able, will you rush a donation today to help re-elect Hakeem and defend our House majority? If we all chip in what we can we can prevent another repeat of 2010 and continue to provide meaningful support to the American people. [[link removed]]
