Make no mistake: Amy Coney Barrett’s rushed confirmation to the Supreme Court last year was part of a decades-long campaign to advance a radical, anti-choice ideology that the vast majority of people in the United States do not support.

Unfortunately, their extremist campaign has had appalling success. Just last month, the Supreme Court allowed Texas’ SB 8, a vigilante-enforced ban on abortion at about six weeks of pregnancy, to go into effect. The Court again refused last week to block the law and will now hear arguments around SB 8 on November 1st.

By refusing to block this cruel ban on abortion, a majority of the justices, including Barrett, essentially allowed Texas to render Roe meaningless in the state—underscoring the dire threat reproductive freedom faces.

So, we’re asking members like you, John, to come together and help counter these attacks. Every dollar we raise before our end-of-month deadline will go straight into our organizing and mobilizing efforts meant to build political power, expose SB 8 copycat bans, and push the Senate to pass the Women’s Health Protect Act (WHPA).
