Thanks good talk.

Hey John,

"Life happens while you're making plans." Like all of us, I had a big
to do list to tackle this week. And I had a date night planned. And
then an unstable homeless man decided to start squatting illegally in
the house that's for sale next door. He was removed and arrested by
the cops no less than four times and he keeps coming back. Then late
the other night he broke into and robbed my neighbor's house while she
was not home. It has been very stressful, having someone so close with
such bad intentions. Needing a place to stay is one thing, but robbing
someone else is not acceptable. I can forgive the occasional strange
behavior though, considering I was guilty of it recently as well. And
behavior like that can lead to unintended consequences. More on that
below. Regardless, it looks like I'm staying in this Halloween!

Good news is you benefit! We are doing my second annual "GLEIB OFF
THE TOP HalloWEED SpectaBOOLar: Costume Contest & Improvised Madness"
virtually at Nowhere Comedy on Zoom! This Saturday October 30 at
5p/8e. There will be a costume contest for prizes! And laughter and
surprises. Last year was a very fun, special evening. So many of you
turned up in costume and it was just a blast. Get a ticket HERE (

We are also doing a post show intimate VIP meet & greet where we'll
have a couple drinks or smokes together, or whatever you like!

I also have in-person shows in the coming weeks in Phoenix, Dallas,
and Vancouver. I hope you join me. Get tickets HERE (

And of course I'm still hosting the very fun comedy chat show/game
show/podcast hybrid SDSC, the Social Distancing Social Club, for free
a couple times every week. Every wednesday with our guest host,
someone we all grew up with, Jodie Sweetin aka Stephanie Tanner from
Full House! And you can join us in the video front row as our live
studio audience, be introduced on air, and even play our daily game
with us! You can get more info at SDSCshow.com (

I went out drinking the other night after a show in Hollywood, and did
the responsible thing, taking an Uber home. I went to get my car the
next day, getting a ride from my parents to save $35 on an Uber. And
when we got there my car had been towed. the parking lot attendant was
being a complete jerk, and towed my car with a half empty lot. In
frustration, I threw my favorite sunglasses on the ground. But in an
unexpected consequence, it bounced up high, nearly hit the guy, and he
decided to try and come at me with his lit cigarette. Then his buddy
showed up and threw, no joke, a full gallon bottle of coffee creamer
at me. Soaking me. At least it was vanilla. My favorite. Then he swung
his knapsack at me. Several times. And my father, and mother, both had
to step in and stop the melee. I was humiliated. You never know what
will happen when you lose your cool. And I guess sometimes even when
you're 43 years old, your parents have to come save you. And saving
$35 on an Uber cost me $402 on a towed car.

That all said, we live and learn. And the show must go on! So let's
hide from reality a bit, put on some costumes, and go the good kind of
mad. Funny mad. I'm so excited to get mad with all you Mad Ones this
Saturday as we celebrate Halloween together on Zoom at GLEIB OFF THE
TOP: HalloWEED SpectacBOOlar!
