In case you missed it, Howard University students have been camping out in protest of horrible living conditions and the university's lack of response to their concerns.
Issues with student housing are directly connected to the University's relationship with Corvias Inc., who began their relationship with Howard University in 2016, after signing an almost 2 billion dollar 40-year contract.
Yet with all that money, students have reported crumbling ceilings, brown water, black mold, cases of students developing mold-based asthma and respiratory illnesses, and a list of other harmful building issues and DC health code violations.
As long as Howard University has an active contract with Corvias, Howard’s housing conditions on campus will suffer. Sign the petition to tell Howard that their students deserve justice, fair and adequate housing, and an end to their contract with Corvias.
