Alexandra was raised on a factory farm. Debeaked early on, she was set to be slaughtered at four months-an industry standard. Instead, she came to Farm Sanctuary.

She's come such a long way since then! Alexandra is now seven years old--an anomaly for turkeys bred for food production. But it's the norm at Farm Sanctuary--and with help from our supporters, we can give other rescued animals a second chance as well.
