John,

California is on fire. Again. Hundreds of thousands of people are under evacuation orders. Again. Millions will lose power. Again.

We are taking action on Wednesday, October 30th and we need you with us. Can you join?

It's been 11 months since I got arrested outside Rep. Hoyer's office because Congress refused to protect my future. Since then, the Green New Deal has dominated the climate discussion. That's a real victory. But for the victims of floods, fires, and other disasters around the world this past year, it's not enough. It's not enough for the residents of California right now.

So we're going back to Congress. We're not letting them off the hook for the devastation brought by the climate crisis. We have a right to clean air & water. We have a right to a livable future. We won't let them deny the reality of the climate crisis for another year. We're going back to Congress to elevate the call for a Green New Deal because we won't let our futures go down in flames.

Click here to RSVP for our Wednesday action. There will be a training on Tuesday evening to go over the details of the action and prepare willing participants for higher risk action components. Then we'll convene Wednesday morning in Stanton Park at 10:00 AM. If you RSVP here, you’ll get all the updates and information you need to participate. Can't wait to see you there.

Solidarity,

Mike Warburton
