Dear John,

Some great news to brighten your inbox this week!

Thanks to all of you for taking part in our supermarket campaign we are very happy to confirm that Waitrose has now committed to stop selling high-risk synthetic pesticide products in their gardening range. They are the second major supermarket to do so after Co-op.

We will continue to push Aldi, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco to do the same.

If you would like to add your voice you can send them an email here.

Josie details the reasons behind this lack of funding, despite pesticide-related harms in both the environment and health sectors being well documented. It’s a really interesting and surprising read and we hope that it encourages you to donate (or even start a direct debit) in support of our work.
