How to take climate action in your yard, protecting water quality and expanding wildlife habitat.
Our guest speaker is Tami Sheiffer, the Fairfax County Park Authority Coordinator of an education and outreach program called Watch the Green Grow. She is also the Fairfax County Coordinator for the Audubon at Home Program, a certified Virginia Master Naturalist, and a trained Climate Reality Project Leader. Tami enjoys teaching people--from homeowners to schoolchildren--how to protect nature. Her environmental work is motivated by a desire to halt climate change as well as to protect animal habitats, promote biodiversity, and improve water quality.
Your yard care practices impact the surrounding environment — come and learn how to make a difference to benefit our one common home..
