This time next week, campaigners, activists, global South delegates and world leaders are converging on the banks of Glasgow's River Clyde for COP26, an international meeting to address the climate crisis.
COP26 is important because this is the last decade the world has to avoid the worst impacts of the climate crisis: extreme natural disasters, sea level rise, and unimaginable loss of life.
In order to address the worst of these, countries in the global South need financial help to protect their communities, to mitigate, prevent and respond to what is still to come. But right now over 52 countries are stuck in a debt crisis. They need debts written off and new funds to help cope.
That's why the message is clear and simple: Cancel the debt for climate justice.
