** Polls close in less than a week

Hi John,

We’re sending the November newsletter a few days early because it’s election crunch time! It’s election crunch time! With less than a week to go we need all hands on deck to secure Governor Murphy’s re-election. The New Jersey Globe recently shared a poll that Governor Phil Murphy’s lead has narrowed to a mere 6 points! ([link removed]) We cannot afford to lose the greenest governor in America, or any other Democratic races here in Morris County.

In less than a week, voters across the county will show up at the polls to vote for candidates from the governor down to the most local level. Let’s make the next few days count by doing everything we can to get Democrats over the finish line!

In this issue, you’ll find information about the upcoming MCYD textbanking weekend of action, a $50 paid canvassing ([link removed]) opportunity, and a preview of other upcoming events.

1. MCYD Weekend of Action

This weekend, the MCYD will be sending text messages to young Democrats across Morris Country reminding them to come out and vote on Election Day. If you’d like to help us get the vote out among young Democrats, sign up here ([link removed]) .

We’ll send you an invitation to ThruText on Saturday morning and you’ll be able to send texts to your list of assigned voters anytime between 10 AM and 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
2. Paid Canvassing Opportunity

The New Jersey LCV PAC is organizing an Environmentalists for Murphy Day of Action this Saturday, October 30th. Paid canvas shifts are available all day starting at 10:00 AM to those 18 years or older.

Come PHIL the streets with us and the NJ LCV to support Murphy’s re-election in competitive Morris County. It will be a great opportunity to do your part and make a little extra cash! Never canvassed before? No problem! They’ll give you a quick tutorial and send everyone out in pairs.

The rate is $50 per three hour shift.

What: New Jersey LCV PAC Day of Action: Environmentalists for Murphy.

When: Saturday, October 30th. Paid canvass shifts are available: 10am - 1pm, 1pm - 4pm, 4pm- 7pm. Canvassers can sign up for ONE shift.
