Hello --
$3.1 million.
That’s how much the NRA has already spent buying off Joni Ernst -- all to stop the Senate from passing common-sense gun safety reform.
I will not take a penny from the NRA or gun lobbyists because I refuse to be bought out at the expense of innocent lives.
If we offer up nothing but thoughts and prayers while murderers continue to get their hands on killing machines, we’re going to see the same tragic scenario happen again and again.
Kids being brutally killed their classrooms, another memorial paining the hearts and lives of communities across our country, and the ever-looming fear of getting gunned down any time, any where. That’s the world we live in and the reality we will continue to face if we continue to idly stand by.
I’m counting on folks like you to help build a campaign that’s capable of taking on the gun industry’s money. Can you chip in to help us ditch Mitch McConnell and Joni Ernst while helping to meet our end-of-month fundraising goal?
When I’m elected to the U.S. Senate, I’m going to fight for families who want safe schools and communities. I’ll pass universal background checks, ban assault weapons, and outlaw high capacity magazines, and much more.
In recent weeks, I’ve led a grassroots effort to ban gun shows from legally selling explosives and Nazi propaganda. And on Friday, I was proud to protest the Iowa State Fair gun show alongside the Iowa chapter of March for Our Lives.
If we want gun reform in this country, we’re going to have to take back the Senate. With Joni Ernst’s approval rating plummeting 9 points this month, we have a real opportunity here in Iowa to flip her seat and ditch Mitch McConnell.
The NRA is planning on pumping millions of dollars into Joni’s race to keep one of their biggest allies in office. If we’re going to take down Joni and the NRA, we’re going to have to close this month strong. Can you chip in $5 or more to help us flip Iowa blue?
Thank you for your support,
Eddie Mauro
