First, I want to thank you SO much. The response to our campaign to primary House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the most powerful establishment politician in the Democratic Party, has been, frankly, mind-blowing.

Early Monday morning, after a long weekend celebrating San Francisco Pride and grinding out the final hours of our Q2 fundraising period, as I reflected on what we have already accomplished and where we are going, I realized that we can really do this. Not only can we push the debate left on impeachment, Medicare for All, and the Green New Deal, together we are building the organization that will finally liberate California’s 12th Congressional District from decades of devastating neoliberal rule.

Not only have we already surpassed our fundraising from the 2018 cycle, we have already tripled our number of grassroots financial supporters: more than 1,400 unique donors have chosen to support our campaign, recognizing the dire need to shrug off the failures of corporate rule and bipartisan deference to it.

From this base, we will build a field team capable of reaching hundreds of thousands of voters with our progressive message.

And we will win in 2020.
