What do Madison Cawthorn, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert have in common? They’re three right-wing extremists in Congress who are alleged to have helped protestors organize the January 6th insurrection.

And as one of those extremists, Cawthorn is currently in a position of power representing the people of NC-11.

A recent Rolling Stone report indicated that Cawthorn, MTG, and Boebert’s staff met with organizers of the January 6th insurrection for planning purposes prior to that day. If these allegations prove true, they should all be expelled from Congress immediately.

We cannot forget that just moments before the mob began to march toward the Capitol, Cawthorn told the crowd gathered at the White House that they had some “fight in it.” He knew exactly what he was doing onstage and how dangerous it could potentially be.

Cawthorn does not represent who we are in Western North Carolina. Anyone who does not respect our democracy has no place in Congress, and if these allegations are true, he must either be expelled or resign. If all else fails, we’ll vote him out of office.
