Patriot,

We all know that Minneapolis’ Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is no friend to law enforcement officers or those who want safer communities and an end to the tragic wave of violence we’ve seen in Minneapolis this past year and a half.

After numerous calls to defund the police and after pushing dangerous rhetoric that has endangered the lives of many officers and caused others to leave the profession entirely, she is now blaming police officers who apparently "have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and provide the public safety they owe to the citizens" for the astronomical increase in gun violence and carjackings.

We all know this couldn’t be farther from the truth. But there is a growing group of representatives in Congress who work constantly to effect policies that hurt law enforcement officers, cause crime, and ruin our cities… and then turn around and blame Republicans for the mess they caused.

As someone who has always appreciated the sacrifices of our law enforcement personnel, I have used my service in Congress to thank law enforcement and bring forward policy reforms that better allow them to do their jobs. I am working to take back the five seats that Republicans need for a House majority so we can get to work passing legislation that helps officers protect the communities they risk their lives to serve.

Will you join me today and show radical Socialists like Ilhan Omar that Americans support our police officers, not policies that make our communities more dangerous? We’ll need all the help we can get as we approach the 2022 midterms and work to flip the five seats we need for a House majority.
