[2]National Nurses United
Right now, we’re focusing on four representatives in Congress who have
previously sponsored Medicare for All legislation and are currently
members of the Medicare for All caucus — but have not yet signed on as
cosponsors of H.R. 1976, the Medicare for All Act of 2021.
In just a few days, we’re hosting two massive, national phone banks to
call voters in these four districts — and to have the greatest impact, we
need as many people making calls as possible. [ [link removed] ]Will you RSVP today to
whichever national Medicare for All Phone Bank works best for you?
If you’re looking to get into the spooky season, our Saturday phone bank
will be Halloween themed. Costumes are encouraged! 🎃

Here are the four priority districts we’ll be calling voters in:
* Congressman John Garamendi, CA-03 (Sacramento)
* Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, OH-03 (Columbus)
* Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, TX-15 (San Antonio)
* Congressman Albio Sires, NJ-08 (Newark)
Since all of these representatives previously sponsored Medicare for All
legislation, we believe that with enough pressure, we can secure them as
cosponsors of the Medicare for All Act of 2021. That’s why at our phone
banks, we’ll reach out to Medicare for All supporters in each of these
districts and urge them to contact their representatives and participate
in our Day of Action by joining one of our car caravans.
Together, we can drive a flood of calls to these four representatives and
demonstrate the strength of our movement. But to make it happen, we’re
going to need your help.
Please sign up today for our phone banks on [ [link removed] ]Saturday, October 30, and
[ [link removed] ]Monday, November 1.
We can’t wait to see you (and maybe even your costume!) at one of our
phone banks. Thank you so much for stepping up.
In solidarity,
Jasmine Ruddy
