When I say I’m a Maryland guy, I mean it.

I was born and raised in Baltimore.

I worked as a lifeguard in Ocean City.

I went to Baltimore City College, University of Maryland-College Park, and University of Baltimore Law School. (I even played lacrosse at Maryland!)

I’m a big Baltimore sports fan.

I met my wife here, we raised our family here, and now I have grandkids here who I’m teaching to love all things Maryland, too.

I ran for office because I love my home and I want to make it a better place for all Marylanders to live. That’s what I do in Congress, and I want to keep doing it -- with your support.

Look, no one likes fundraising emails, but this is one of our best tools for staying connected with supporters like you and raising the resources necessary for running a strong and successful campaign. I’d really like you to be a part of this -- please chip in before the end-of-month deadline if you can. For even just the cost of a cup of coffee, you would help us out a lot. [[link removed]]
