** Dear John,
------------------------------------------------------------
Tomorrow, we’re co-hosting a webinar with the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian about the ways American history instruction often fails to acknowledge—and contributes to—the erasure of Indigenous stories and perspectives. You’ll learn about critical historical events, as well as cultural and societal contributions of Indigenous peoples past and present. You will also examine common misconceptions and stereotypes and gain resources for teaching a more complete history.

The webinar is set for 3:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, October 29. Sign up here ([link removed]) ! If you can’t join us live, the webinar will be available to watch on demand shortly after it ends.

Thanks for all you do for students.
