We have some exciting news to share. Today, we're proud to launch our first ever Community Council!

NIAC prides itself on being grassroots and having its priorities shaped by our members. We are lucky to have such a vibrant community and active members from all backgrounds and walks of life. Now, in addition to our annual member survey and consultations that shape our agenda, we are thrilled to take our grassroots mission a step further with the launch of our Community Council.

The Community Council is a new advisory body, separate from our current boards, that will bring together esteemed experts, allies, and members of the Iranian-American community. Council members will be in regular contact with NIAC staff and their insights and ideas will help advance NIAC’s mission and strengthen the power of our community. Our vision is for the Community Council to grow over time and become an inclusive forum for dialogue, both between its diverse members and with NIAC. 

Please join us in welcoming the inaugural members of NIAC's Community Council!

We greatly look forward to the range of expertise and perspectives these esteemed individuals will bring to NIAC and hope to grow the council to reflect our community more broadly.
