Hannah here, Jessica’s finance director. It’s my job to keep track of our fundraising and make projections. In reality, that means I spend a lot of time refreshing ActBlue and updating spreadsheets.

That’s especially important around our end-of-month deadlines -- to make sure we stay on track and have the resources we need to win this race.

But I’ll be honest: right now we’re significantly behind where we need to be. That’s not great.

As you know, this is a grassroots-funded campaign. We don’t have billionaires or super PACs waiting to save us at the last minute. Coming up short is a real problem.

We still have time to get back on track before our deadline Thursday, but it means we’re counting on a lot of people stepping up today.

Henry Cuellar has a war chest full of corporate PAC and Big Oil money. Hitting our October goal is critical to make sure we have the resources to fight back and stop him from buying this election.
