Kristalina Georgieva was recently appointed as the new head of the IMF. Hundreds of us have sent messages asking her to bail out people not banks. This Wednesday afternoon we’ve now got a call with the IMF to discuss our demands!

Take action before Wednesday to show just how many people are calling for change:

🌍 Countries are being forced to prioritise debt repayments while their citizens suffer a lack of basic services like healthcare and education.

💰 Many of these debts are owed to banks and private finance. When the IMF steps in they are bailing out these reckless lenders without supporting countries to write off or bring down debts, fuelling the debt crisis.

It’s time to bail out people not banks

✋ When citizens around the world have taken a stand against exploitative debt we have achieved huge changes, including billions in debt relief for the most impoverished countries. We can win again if enough of us act.
