Voting rights is an issue that I believe cannot be compromised on because of how straightforward it is: every American above the age of 18 should have the right to vote.

That’s why I was proud to vote in favor of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (JLVRAA).

Can you add your name and urge the Senate to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act?

I need 12,500 of my supporters to stand up for voting rights alongside me.

Republicans across the country are passing bills to make it harder for minority communities to vote.

In states that have histories of voter suppression, the JLVRAA would require the Department of Justice to give pre-clearance before any law pertaining to voting is enacted.

While our work doesn’t end here, passing this critical legislation would go miles in protecting the right to vote once and for all. In recent days, we’ve seen that this fight isn’t easy, so I’ll need your help.

It would mean a lot to me if you would be one of the 12,500 supporters we need to sign on in support of the Senate passing the JLVRAA — just like the House did.
