The fight for our planet and future generations is up to us.
World leaders are set to meet next week to discuss urgently needed action to fully address climate change. But real action to protect our planet for future generations isn’t happening fast enough.
Just yesterday, millions of people woke up to more flooding, power outages, high-winds, and even mudslides after torrential rains and a “bomb cyclone” hit their communities. It was the strongest storm to hit the Bay Area in 26 years, but it also impacted communities up and down the west coast including Seattle.
Extreme weather and the deadly damage wrought by these kinds of climate disasters won’t let up until we act — until we transform the way we are treating this planet. As long as we keep burning fossil fuels, refuse to transition to clean energy, and maintain the status quo of corporate-led environmental degradation, more disasters will come and the climate crisis will only get worse.
I’m fighting in Congress for real action to address climate change. Our fight is strong, and led by the people, but we need to keep up our work in the face of Big Oil and corporate attacks. Can you chip in $3 to support my work to protect our environment and prevent future climate disasters?

Climate change has led to more and more extreme weather events, killing people and destroying our communities. From the Texas power outages during record low temperatures last winter to the recent mass flooding in the northeast to this latest bomb cyclone and so much more, lives are at stake. And so is our planet.
World leaders need to act right now. And so does Congress. That’s why my fight for the people and our planet never stops. Can you join me in this urgent fight with a $3 contribution today?
So much is on the line, and I could not continue this fight for climate action without your support.
In solidarity,
Pramila
