Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) was founded in support of two key Seattle Foundation initiatives—equity and opportunity. Building capacity for grassroots organizations empowers its leaders and creates more pathways to nurturing a thriving region for all. For 30 years, Neighbor 2 Neighbor has served as a conduit between garnering funding and palpable change. N2N Spotlight: Black Dollar Days Task Force’s Clean Green Farms
Summer 2021 Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) grantees were announced in September. One of the organizations, Black Dollar Days Task Force (BDDTF), was featured in a blog that highlighted its Clean Greens Farm youth leadership project. The story discusses the project's impact on the youth in our region and the historical and current importance of Clean Green Farms in Seattle's Central Area.

Mixed-income housing project breaks ground in Renton Highlands neighborhood
The first Evergreen Impact Housing Fund (EIHF) project is officially under construction. Thanks to a combined gift of $ 11.1 million to EIHF from five area credit unions, and a $ 61.5 million contribution from The Washington State Housing Finance Commission through its bond-cap program, Solera will provide 277 affordable housing units to families in Renton, WA.
