Election Day in Virginia is exactly one week away — and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Here’s why we need to elect Terry McAuliffe and make sure he beats his Trump-backed opponent Glenn Youngkin:

Governors play a make-or-break role in defending voting rights in our country. With Republicans pushing hundreds of voter suppression bills through state legislatures, a governor’s veto is often the only way to protect our democracy. 

When Terry was governor of Virginia, he restored voting rights to more residents of his state than any other governor in history.

Youngkin, on the other hand, has fully aligned himself with Trump, who tried to overturn legitimate election results in 2020 and continues to fuel dangerous rumors about election fraud. 

With the future of democracy at stake, we need to keep Virginia’s governorship blue, and that means doing our part to support Terry McAuliffe. Will you split $10 or more between my campaign and Terry’s campaign today to help fund a critical last push in Virginia?
