Hi John,
Custom branding on Action Network just got a lot easier! We just deployed two big updates: custom short links for mobile and custom links for actions.
You can now create and share actions like petitions or events with a custom URL. So instead of actionnetwork.org/petition, the default will be action.yourorganization.org/petition or yourorganization.act.org/petition! All you have to do is add a custom wrapper and the links will automatically update. Your actions can now be fully branded without ever messing with any code. Learn more.
You can also add a mobile short link to your group. When sending a mobile message with a link on Action Network instead of using our default actn.et, you can have your own branded link (like txt.organizationname) and still track clicks and actions. Learn more and demo the mobile toolset.
Voila! Magic!
These features require you to maintain your own domain, and they come at an additional cost of $200/month each. Want a custom domain for your group? Email us to get started!
Other updates worth noting:
-
We’ve added a new filter for emails, mobile messages, and reports: ‘donated X times in Y days’
-
You can now require 2-factor authentication for all group admins and organizers (plus child groups!). Turn it on in the Settings tab.
We hope you enjoy these new updates! Check out our release notes to follow along with what’s new on Action Network. Have a question or comment? Feel free to reply to this email, and I’ll get back to you.
In Solidarity,
Mari Vangen | The Action Network
