Registration for FNUSA's 2022 Anti-Trafficking Conference is Live!
We are thrilled to announce that registration for our annual anti-trafficking conference is now open! Leveling Up: Human Trafficking in a New Era will be held March 16 - 17th, 2022. This year we are holding a hybrid event. Attendees can choose to participate onsite in Miami, Florida or online. All attendees will be able to engage with each other through our event app, Whova. The virtual event content will include both live streams of select in-person sessions and dedicated content that is customized for a virtual audience. Virtual content will be accessible for one year. Onsite ticket holders will also have access to all online content after the in-person event. It is like getting two conferences for the price of one!

Leveling Up
This year's theme is Leveling Up: Human Trafficking in a New Era. Anti-trafficking work is entering a new era. In the past two years, the global pandemic and renewed calls for racial justice forced advocates out of their comfort zones to meet the needs of survivors. These lessons and a new administration have brought the future of anti-trafficking work to a tipping point. We have made tremendous progress, but the approach and tools we have used to prevent and address human trafficking have fallen short. We must push beyond the constraints of the past in terms of what we believe human trafficking is, how we support survivors and hold traffickers accountable, and what effective prevention looks like. Join us to commemorate 20 years of progress and to reimagine what is possible in anti-trafficking work ahead.

Introduction to Human Trafficking Training
New to the anti-trafficking field? Join our upcoming Introduction to Human Trafficking Training. This 2-hour training will give participants a foundation of human trafficking theory and practice. Participants will learn what human trafficking is, what legal services and social services are available to survivors, and practice points within those professions. The training will also include case studies and give practical tools for service provision. The session will be delivered by practitioners in the field who will share best practices in the anti-trafficking field.
