John -
For years, Mainers watched in horror as dangerously addictive opioids flooded our neighborhoods and consumed our loved ones. The epidemic hollowed out whole communities, leaving working people struggling to save their families from a real-life Walking Dead.
And now, we're learning that although their pills destroyed lives, Big Pharma execs celebrated each other as they raked in billions in profits for finding new ways to target vulnerable communities.
At the same time: Susan Collins collected more than $50,000 in campaign cash from those same execs and from Big Pharma-connected PACs, then voted against holding them accountable for their actions.
That is unacceptable.
Contribute before our end of month deadline and fuel the fight for a Senator who stands up for Mainers, no matter what.

Two things about Collins's vote, John:
1 - There's no doubt those companies knew they were putting our families in danger. From 2006-2012, Cardinal Health shipped 135,583,060 pills to Maine - more than 100 pills for every person in the state. (And remember, that's just one company.)
2 - Susan Collins voted against holding those companies accountable just last year when she already knew full well how gruesome the opioid plague was in Maine and all over the country, and she knew who was to blame.
Votes like this one are the reason I've dedicated my career to getting big money out of politics. And they're the reason I'm running to replace Susan Collins.
Maine can't afford a Senator who watches corporations attack our state, and then blocks efforts to bring our attacker to justice.
I will stand up to anyone - whether it's Big Pharma, Donald Trump, or party bosses in Washington - who hurts Mainers or tries to take us for granted.
That's because I've got the strength of grassroots supporters like you behind me, John. Our end of month fundraising deadline is almost here. Chip in now to keep our movement strong!
