Friends,

This week, Stay DC - a program that is saving DC residents from eviction during a global pandemic - will stop taking applications. Stay DC is not ending because the need has ended. Stay DC is ending because it’s running out of money. The mayor is the only one who can move money to keep the program open but instead of acting immediately to meet this urgent need she is waiting on federal funding.
We need a mayor who knows that keeping families housed has to be our number one priority. I’m running because I know that housing is a human right and we must protect it at all costs. As mayor, I will prioritize affordable housing and keeping DC families safe.

This election will determine the future of housing in our city. We need to usher in a new day for DC and we'll need your support. Thank you for standing with me.
