I know we’ve been asking a lot of you lately, but with a critical election
just over one week away and our fundamental rights increasingly at risk,
we’ve got a lot to get done together. The Virginia election is
increasingly on my mind – that’s why I’m going to be hitting the pavement
myself this weekend to help get out the vote in support of the many
progressive champions we have running this year.

I hope you’ll join me on Tuesday, once I’ve been on the ground in Virginia
myself, for a virtual briefing about what People For is doing to help
secure progressive wins and how people nationwide can pitch in. I will be
hosting an event with legendary civil rights leader Dolores Huerta,
Virginia House Majority Leader Charniele Herring, and other elections
experts on how people across the country can and should get involved.

With Democrats holding the narrowest of majorities in both houses of
Congress, it’s critical that we head into the 2022 election season with a
