Dear John, Equality Virginia (EV) is searching for our next Executive Director (ED), and we would love your help. Please share this opportunity with anyone you think could make a great candidate. After making incredible contributions to EV, it is time for our current ED, Vee Lamneck, to move on to pursue a new career as a clinical therapist. Vee joined the EV team in 2013 and worked their way up to the role of executive director in 2020. We are so grateful to have benefitted from Vee's compassionate leadership during this time, especially in the midst of the ups-and-downs caused by the pandemic. We will miss Vee dearly and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their next chapter. We are also excited to find our next leader! This is a fantastic way to play a key role in LGBTQ advocacy in Virginia. EV is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to guide the vision and strategy for the next stage of Equality Virginia's growth and evolution. Ideal candidates will be committed to advancing racial justice and LGBTQ equality, and will understand the unique needs and struggles of the LGBTQ community. This position calls for a movement leader who can inspire, connect, and champion our community, and we hope you will help us spread the word about this exciting opportunity. |
