What is it about the new Republican Party, ruled by Trump and fueled by conspiracy theorists and liars, that wants to bring back the days of Father Knows Best — where women aren’t allowed to make decisions without daddy’s approval? 

It’s not that it’s a surprise, or anything, because this minority coven of mean white guys, is the same ilk of men who have made remarks like, if a woman is raped she should relax and enjoy it or if it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to shut that thing down.” That thing he’s talking about — conception! That’s how much these fools know!

We need better decision makers, y’all. And we need them NOW.

Somehow, though, they keep getting their way. Why? Because the organizations that can do the most good for communities under attack are underfunded.
