Hey there — it’s Dr. Gillian. I just left the hospital and I wanted to send you my thoughts:

After every shift, I have another story to tell about a Wisconsin family being hurt by our broken health care system. Sometimes, it’s a single mom that cannot afford her child's inhaler. Other times, it’s a senior who came in under weight because they chose to fill their prescription instead of buying groceries for the past few weeks.

We are the wealthiest country on earth. These people don’t have to be enduring this — it’s a policy decision that Republicans like Ron Johnson are making when they fail to get behind legislation to expand Medicare and lower prescription drug costs. 

I’m running for Senate because the status quo is killing us. We can’t let Republicans in the pockets of Big Pharma keep making decisions about our health care. As a doctor, I will fight to expand health care to every American under Medicare for All. Despite what Republicans want you to think, I know it’s possible.
